LocalStack is an OSS project that enables developers to work on applications that leverage 3rd-party cloud services (e.g. datastores, queues, authentication services, DNS, etc) without actually requiring any access to said services. By providing a sophisticated test/mocking framework for these underlying services, LocalStack enables developers to iterate quickly in their “local” environments, whether it's personal hardware and/or a cloud-provisioned remote development environment.
